INSIDE OUT is a large-scale participatory art project that transforms messages of personal identity into pieces of artistic work. Giant photo-booths invite thousands of Israelis and Palestinians to capture and print their own portraits as posters and then exhibit them in the streets.

These artistic actions occured in a time of social marchs in Israel, while Palestine was biding for membership to UNO. Not only did they enabled populations to see their face as a whole but also gave each citizen the opportunity to express their wish for the future through a dedicated website.

As a member of the production team, i had the opportunity to shoot pictures of people in the streets, encouraging them to make funny or crazy faces. After printing the pictures on large digital printers, we invited them to paste their face on the walls of their city.
